100 DaveSayings from Down Under

I wrote my first DaveSaying in 1995 when it just suddenly appeared in my head. I had been working late at night in my office at home and as if by magic it simply appeared in my brain. I had enough sense to write it down but it was to be another 12 months before the same thing happened again.
​
A few days later I decided to see if I could actually write one of these mysterious sayings by sitting down with a pen and paper and having a think.
​
Well, the rest is history. They seem to be influenced by whatever is going on in my life at the time and I am always amazed at what I actually write down as I have no idea until I actually have completed my "mystical brain storm" and written it down. I may make a few adjustments but mostly not.
​
This book is a result of many late nights choosing carefully the images to put with my sayings. They are witty, wise, sentimental, joyful, sad and even a little bit cheeky but I have no doubts you will have no regrets at parting with so little to receive so much.........ENJOY!

The Magic of the
SINULOG FESTIVAL
Cebu City 2008
In 2008 I was lucky enough to be in the Philippines pursuing a goal to highlight Child Poverty in the "Reclemation Areas" of both Luzon and Cebu.

It was while I was in Cebu City that it just happened to be the time of their wonderful festival the "Sinulog Festival" which is without doubt one of the most spectacular religious festivals in the world.
​
This book is a PICTURE BOOK of select photos to highlight what it was like to be standing in the middle of the parade as the procession marched by. I really do mean "standing in the middle of the parade" as the police had allowed me to be on the parade side of the barrier ropes whilst everyone else was made to stay on the footpath side.
​
I consider this day one of those special days of my life - up their with each of my three girls being born and the day I married my beautiful wife.
